Akihiko Kaji

Akihiko Kaji is a graduate student, violinist, and drummer in Given. He plays drums in the band with Ritsuka Uenoyama, Haruki Nakayama, and later Mafuyu Sato.

Confident and sociable on the surface, Akihiko is emotionally conflicted and sometimes careless with other people's feelings. His unresolved attachment to violinist Ugetsu Murata leaves him trapped in a painful relationship.

Music, Ugetsu, and Haruki

Akihiko's musical ability spans drums and violin, and his ambition to return seriously to the violin becomes part of his growth. His bond with Haruki changes after he confronts his dependence on Ugetsu and begins taking responsibility for the harm caused by his indecision.
