Amu Hinamori

Amu Hinamori is the protagonist of Shugo Chara! and a student known for a cool, rebellious image that does not match her shy personality. Her wish to become her true self creates three Guardian Characters: Ran, Miki, and Su.

Guardian Characters and the role of Joker

Through Character Change and Character Transformation, Amu gains abilities based on each Guardian Character. As the Guardians' Joker, she purifies X Eggs, while her relationships with Ikuto Tsukiyomi, Tadase Hotori, and her school friends shape her emotional growth.
