Asahi Azumane

Asahi Azumane is a third-year student and the ace wing spiker of Karasuno High's volleyball team in Haikyu!! He initially leaves the club after losing confidence but returns when his teammates convince him that the team still needs him.

Gentle, anxious, and physically imposing, Asahi dislikes being seen as frightening and places heavy responsibility on himself. His motivation is restored when he accepts that an ace does not have to score alone.

Asahi's height, power, and strong serves make him Karasuno's main offensive weapon. His bond with setter Koshi Sugawara and libero Yu Nishinoya helps him overcome the trauma of being blocked by Date Tech and become more reliable under pressure.
