Binchou-tan is the small charcoal-themed protagonist of Binchou-tan, living alone in a rural mountain house and working to support herself. The story follows her daily chores, short jobs, walks into town, and gradual friendships, presenting poverty and loneliness through gentle slice-of-life episodes.
