Churuya-san

Churuya-san is a super-deformed parody version of Tsuruya from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, originating in the Nyoron Churuya-san four-panel comic. Her short stories revolve around exaggerated everyday frustration, especially her repeated attempts to obtain smoked cheese.

Cheerful, persistent, innocent, and comically unlucky, she responds to disappointment with the recurring "nyoron" expression rather than the confidence of the original Tsuruya.
