Crewmate

Crewmates are the player characters who maintain a spaceship or facility in Among Us while trying to identify hidden Impostors. They are defined by colored suits and player-controlled behavior rather than individual canonical biographies.

Crewmates in the social-deduction match

A Crewmate can be cooperative, suspicious, deceptive, or reckless depending on the player. The role's motivation is to complete tasks, survive, and vote out the killers before the team is eliminated.

Tasks, emergency meetings, and player-defined identity

Crewmates repair systems, monitor information, report bodies, and use meetings to compare testimony. Maps, cosmetic identities, and special roles vary by update, so "Crewmate" describes a gameplay role and species-like mascot rather than one fixed person.
