Draluc

Draluc is a vampire and one of the two protagonists of The Vampire Dies in No Time. After vampire hunter Ronaldo destroys his castle, Draluc moves into Ronaldo's office with his armadillo familiar John.

Draluc's life with Ronaldo and John

Talkative, theatrical, and extremely fragile, Draluc turns to dust from minor shocks, sunlight, insults, or physical contact. Despite the comic weakness, he is socially skilled and often more perceptive than Ronaldo.

Instant death, regeneration, and unlikely partnership

Draluc can regenerate from dust, use some hypnosis and transformation abilities, and exploit his broad knowledge of vampires. His argumentative partnership with Ronaldo and affectionate bond with John create a found household in which hunter and vampire repeatedly solve supernatural problems together.
