Eleven

Eleven is a girl with psychic abilities and one of the central characters of Stranger Things. Raised as a test subject at Hawkins National Laboratory, she escapes and becomes involved with the disappearance of Will Byers and the opening to the Upside Down.

Eleven beyond Hawkins Laboratory

Reserved, emotionally direct, and fiercely protective, Eleven learns ordinary friendship and family after a childhood defined by experiments. Her strongest motivation becomes keeping the people she loves safe.

Psychic power, friendship, and chosen family

Eleven uses telekinesis, remote viewing, and mental contact with other dimensions, although heavy use can exhaust or injure her. Her relationships with Mike Wheeler, Jim Hopper, and the Hawkins group help her build an identity beyond the number assigned by the laboratory.
