Ereshkigal

Ereshkigal is a Lancer-class Servant in Fate/Grand Order and the Mesopotamian goddess who rules the Underworld. She appears during the Babylonia singularity while secretly communicating through the body shared with Ishtar's vessel.

Lonely, dutiful, and easily embarrassed, Ereshkigal takes pride in caring for the dead even though her role isolates her. Her desire for affection conflicts with responsibility to the Underworld.

Duty, loneliness, and her connection with Ishtar

She controls the land of the dead, cages souls, and wields the spear-like power of Kur. Her friendship with the Chaldea Master and contrast with Ishtar help her choose protection over resentment, while later summonable versions preserve the goddess's shy but responsible personality.
