Futaba Sakura

Futaba Sakura is the Hermit Arcana confidant and navigator of the Phantom Thieves in Persona 5. A brilliant hacker, she isolates herself after the death of her mother Wakaba and believes distorted accusations that she caused it.

Socially anxious, intelligent, and blunt, Futaba uses online language to manage uncomfortable situations. Her motivation becomes uncovering the conspiracy behind Wakaba's death and rebuilding a life outside her room.

Hacking, Wakaba's death, and recovery from isolation

As the hacker Alibaba and later the Phantom Thief Oracle, Futaba provides scanning, analysis, communication, and support through her Persona Necronomicon. Her relationships with Sojiro Sakura, Joker, and the team help her overcome her Palace and form a chosen family.
