Gabimaru

Gabimaru is an elite shinobi and the protagonist of Hell's Paradise. Sentenced to death after trying to leave his village, he accepts a mission to find the Elixir of Life in exchange for a pardon.

Gabimaru's search for the Elixir of Life

Emotionally restrained and trained to see himself as hollow, Gabimaru gradually admits that love for his wife Yui is the reason he wants to live. His conflict lies between conditioned violence and a desired peaceful future.

Ninjutsu, Yui, and partnership with Sagiri

Gabimaru uses ninjutsu, fire techniques, exceptional endurance, and later Tao. His partnership with executioner Sagiri Yamada Asaemon helps both question their identities, while battles on Shinsenkyo force him to rely on trust rather than solitary survival.
