Gen Narumi

Gen Narumi is the captain of the First Division of the Defense Force in Kaiju No. 8 and is widely regarded as Japan's strongest active anti-kaiju fighter. He presents an undisciplined private life but becomes precise in combat.

Narumi uses a bayonet-style weapon, high-output combat suit, and numbered weapon abilities that enhance visual prediction and kaiju analysis. His relationship with Isao Shinomiya and later evaluation of Kafka and Kikoru show that he respects people who prove their strength.
