Isaac

Isaac is the child protagonist of The Binding of Isaac, trapped beneath his home after his mother believes a divine voice has demanded his sacrifice. The game's dungeons transform his fears, family conflict, and religious trauma into grotesque monsters and symbolic spaces.

Isaac attacks mainly with tears and gains hundreds of items that alter his body and abilities. Alternate forms such as Magdalene, Judas, and the Lost represent identities or imagined characters connected to his inner world and repeated attempts to escape.
