Ishmael

Ishmael is one of the twelve Sinners employed by Limbus Company and travels aboard Mephistopheles under Dante's command. A former sailor of the Pequod, she joins the expedition while carrying trauma from Captain Ahab's obsessive hunt for the Pallid Whale.

Practical, cautious, and often frustrated by reckless teammates, Ishmael values preparation because she has survived catastrophic leadership before. Her anger toward Ahab grows into an obsession that threatens to reproduce the same destructive pattern.

The Great Lake, Ahab, and escaping obsession

Ishmael fights with a mace and harpoon-like weapons across different Identities and uses E.G.O. shaped by personal trauma. Returning to the Great Lake forces her to confront Queequeg, the Pequod, and whether revenge will control her future.
