Jashin-chan

Jashin-chan is a serpent-bodied demon summoned to Earth in Dropkick on My Devil! by the witch Yurine Hanazono. Because Yurine does not know the return spell, Jashin-chan repeatedly tries to kill her summoner in the hope of going back to Hell.

Jashin-chan's life with Yurine

Selfish, lazy, greedy, and theatrically cruel, Jashin-chan is also cowardly and easily distracted. Her schemes usually end with punishment, yet she becomes attached to Yurine, Medusa, Minos, and the strange household around them.

Regeneration, failed murder plots, and reluctant friendship

Jashin-chan has demonic strength, regeneration, and a signature dropkick, making graphic injuries temporary. The comedy depends on the contrast between her murderous claims and the everyday friendships she refuses to admit she values.
