Kei Tsukishima

Kei Tsukishima is a middle blocker for Karasuno High's volleyball team in Haikyu!! Tall and analytical, he initially treats the sport as a club activity not worth deep emotional investment.

Sarcastic, skeptical, and sensitive to disappointment, Tsukishima distances himself because of an earlier loss of trust in his brother Akiteru. He gradually discovers that caring about volleyball does not make him foolish.

Tsukishima specializes in blocking, reading attackers, and coordinating defenses with Tadashi Yamaguchi and the rest of Karasuno. His successful block against Wakatoshi Ushijima becomes the moment he finally feels genuine passion for the game.
