Korra

Korra is the Avatar after Aang and the protagonist of The Legend of Korra. She protects Republic City and the wider world while confronting revolution, civil conflict, spiritual upheaval, and authoritarianism.

Korra's combat role and personal arc

Korra begins confident, physical, and impatient, but repeated trauma forces her to develop humility, empathy, and emotional resilience. She masters water, earth, fire, air, the Avatar State, and spirit techniques, combining them with athletic close combat.

Korra's abilities and defining relationships

Tenzin mentors her, while Mako, Bolin, Asami, and Team Avatar become trusted allies. Her recovery from poisoning and eventual relationship with Asami mark a shift from proving strength to accepting vulnerability and connection.
