Legoshi

Legoshi is a gray wolf and central protagonist of Beastars. A student in Cherryton Academy's drama club, he struggles with carnivorous instincts after meeting the dwarf rabbit Haru and becoming involved in the murder of an herbivore student.

Gentle, anxious, and deeply self-critical, Legoshi fears that desire makes him dangerous. His love for Haru and friendship with Louis force him to confront prejudice, hunger, and the social roles imposed on carnivores.

Haru, controlled strength, and the fear of predatory instinct

Legoshi possesses great strength, smell, and fighting potential but trains to control rather than indulge predation. Leaving school and facing violent criminals mark his effort to build an ethical life outside simple species expectations.
