Marian

Marian is a Nikke soldier and the first close companion of the Commander in GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE. Corrupted during an early mission, she is forced into conflict and later reappears as the powerful Heretic Modernia.

Marian's transformation into Modernia

Kind, trusting, and emotionally attached to the Commander, Marian retains fragments of her original identity despite corruption and memory damage. Her recovery has a childlike quality because much of her former experience is lost.

Corruption, lost memory, and her bond with the Commander

As Marian and Modernia, she uses advanced firearms, mechanical systems, and overwhelming Heretic combat power. Her relationship with Rapi, Anis, Neon, and the Commander makes her fate a central symbol of whether corrupted Nikkes can be saved.
