Mega Man

Mega Man is the robot hero created by Dr. Light in the original Mega Man series. Originally a laboratory assistant named Rock, he volunteers to become a combat robot after Dr. Wily reprograms other Robot Masters.

Brave, compassionate, and committed to coexistence between humans and robots, Mega Man fights reluctantly rather than seeking battle. He repeatedly offers defeated enemies chances that Wily refuses.

The Mega Buster, copied weapons, and the conflict with Dr. Wily

Mega Man uses the Mega Buster and can copy special weapons from defeated Robot Masters. His relationships with Roll, Dr. Light, Proto Man, Rush, and Wily frame a continuing conflict over whether advanced robots will serve cooperation or domination.
