MEIKO

MEIKO is a Japanese virtual singer and one of Crypton Future Media's earliest commercial Vocaloid characters. Her voicebank is based on a human singer and is used by producers to create original music across many genres in Piapro Characters.

Because MEIKO does not have one canonical storyline, personality differs between songs, games, concerts, and fan works. She is often portrayed as mature, confident, and supportive within the Crypton character group.

Synthesized vocals and a flexible role across songs and games

MEIKO's defining ability is synthesized vocal performance, later expanded through updated software versions. Her appearances with KAITO, Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin and Len, and Megurine Luka establish a shared virtual-singer identity without fixed family or romantic relationships.
