Modernia is a Heretic in GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE and the transformed identity of Marian after severe corruption. She first appears as an enemy weapon before fragments of her original attachment to the Commander break through.

Powerful, confused, and emotionally childlike after memory loss, Modernia seeks safety and familiar affection. Her recovery is incomplete, making identity a tension between Marian's past and Heretic conditioning.

Modernia uses heavy firearms, mechanical wings, energy attacks, and advanced Rapture-linked systems. Her bond with the Commander and the Counter Squad leads them to protect her from factions that view her only as a strategic asset.
