Mugen

Mugen is one of the two swordsmen accompanying Fuu in Samurai Champloo. A former pirate from the Ryukyu Islands, he joins the search for the samurai who smells of sunflowers after surviving a duel with Jin.

Wild, confrontational, and fiercely independent, Mugen distrusts authority and relies on instinct. His rivalry with Jin develops into respect, while loyalty to Fuu grows despite his refusal to admit attachment.
