Nyanko Sensei is associated with Natsume's Book of Friends. Nyanko-sensei is the cat-shaped form used by the powerful yokai Madara in Natsume's Book of Friends. He protects Takashi Natsume in exchange for the promise that he may inherit the Book of Friends if Natsume dies.
