Popuko

Popuko is one of the two deliberately absurd heroines of Pop Team Epic. She appears in disconnected sketches that parody anime, games, advertising, internet culture, and television formats.

Popuko's place in the story of POP TEAM EPIC

Popuko is short-tempered, destructive, mischievous, and unconcerned with continuity or conventional characterization. Her abilities change with each joke and can include violence, transformations, genre imitation, or complete control over the sketch.

Popuko's career and collaborations

Pipimi is her constant partner and usually the calmer presence, although their roles can reverse without warning. Multiple voice casts and visual styles make variation itself part of Popuko's identity.
