Protagonist

The protagonist of Metaphor: ReFantazio is a young member of the persecuted elda tribe and the player's central representative in Euchronia. He enters the royal tournament to break the curse on the missing prince, challenge Louis, and compete for the throne after the king's death.

Quietly compassionate, determined, and shaped by discrimination, his motives center on friendship with the prince and creating a society that can overcome tribal prejudice. He awakens Archetype powers, can inherit many combat classes, commands a traveling party, and uses both magic and weapons according to the player's build.
