Schwi begins analytical and emotionally limited but becomes curious, loving, and willing to make an irrational personal choice. Her mechanical body provides immense computation, weapon systems, adaptation, and access to the Ex-Machina network.

Riku gives her a name and becomes her husband, teaching her the meaning of emotion. Her sacrifice transmits her understanding to the collective and helps make the plan to end the war possible.
