Shinra Kusakabe is a Third Generation pyrokinetic and protagonist of Fire Force. He joins Special Fire Force Company 8 to uncover the truth behind his family's fire and the Evangelist's plans.

Shinra is determined, compassionate, impulsive, and known for an involuntary grin that appears when he is nervous. He ignites flames from his feet, using them for propulsion, aerial movement, kicks, and later abilities connected to the Adolla Burst.
