Tama (Sengoku Youko)

Tama Youko is one of the central travelers in Sengoku Youko, a fox katawara who loves humans and opposes cruelty by both humans and monsters. She journeys with Jinka Yamato to stop the Dangaishuu's experiments and later becomes part of the larger war involving transformed humans and ancient katawara.

Cheerful, compassionate, idealistic, and stubborn, Tama challenges Jinka's hatred of humanity and repeatedly chooses reconciliation. She uses fox-spirit transformation, enhanced senses, claws, spiritual techniques, and tactical support in battles against monks and supernatural enemies.
