The Lone Survivor is the player-controlled combatant concept in PUBG: Battlegrounds rather than a named protagonist with one fixed biography. The role begins unarmed in a shrinking battle zone and must outlast other competitors through looting, movement, positioning, and tactical violence.

Personality, nationality, motives, and personal relationships are deliberately left to the player instead of established by a canonical storyline. Abilities come from player skill: firearm handling, vehicle use, inventory management, map awareness, stealth, and adaptation to the changing safe zone.
