Tora is a powerful yokai and one of the two protagonists of Ushio and Tora. Sealed beneath a temple for centuries by the Beast Spear, he is freed by Ushio to fight other monsters.

Tora is arrogant, violent, sarcastic, and gradually protective despite repeatedly claiming he will eat Ushio. He has immense strength, speed, regeneration, lightning, fire, flight, and experience fighting yokai.
