Towa

Towa is the protagonist of the visual novel Slow Damage, living in the decaying special ward of Shinkoumi. He works around the clinic and underground information economy while using other people's powerful emotions as material for disturbing paintings.

Detached, self-destructive, perceptive, and apparently indifferent to danger, Towa hides trauma and an unstable relationship with pain beneath a languid exterior. His abilities are artistic perception, psychological provocation, information gathering, and surviving violence rather than supernatural combat.

Towa's powers, allies, and development

Taku is his long-term caretaker, while Fujieda, Rei, Madarame, and other route characters force Towa to confront different versions of intimacy, memory, and damage.
