Unicorn is an aircraft carrier ship girl in Azur Lane based on the British Royal Navy light carrier HMS Unicorn. She supports the Commander's fleet as a gentle carrier whose aircraft and healing abilities protect other ships during operations.

Unicorn's background and development

Shy, affectionate, dependent, and deeply attached to her "big brother" Commander, Unicorn gains confidence while remaining one of the fleet's softer personalities. Her gameplay uses carrier aircraft, air strikes, fleet healing, and support skills that improve frontline survival; retrofit versions strengthen those functions.

Unicorn's defining relationships and loyalties

Illustrious and other Royal Navy carriers act as older-sister figures, while U-chan, the unicorn plush she carries, is a constant part of her visual and emotional identity.
