V

V is the player-controlled mercenary protagonist of Cyberpunk 2077, whose gender, appearance, background, and combat build are customizable. After a failed heist places the Relic biochip in V's head, the construct of Johnny Silverhand begins overwriting V's mind and creates a race to survive.
