Yoshino

Yoshino Himekawa is a Spirit and major heroine in Date A Live, accompanied by the rabbit puppet personality Yoshinon. Shido Itsuka encounters her while the AST hunts Spirits and tries to seal her power through trust and affection rather than violence.

Yoshino's background and development

Gentle, timid, compassionate, and afraid of rejection, Yoshino uses Yoshinon as a confident voice when anxiety makes direct conversation difficult. Her Angel Zadkiel controls water and ice, creates freezing storms, and forms the giant rabbit puppet Shiryon; her Astral Dress protects her in battle.

Yoshino's powers, allies, and development

Shido becomes her protector and family-like romantic bond, while Kotori and the other sealed Spirits give Yoshino a safe household and the confidence to speak for herself.
