Zagreus

Zagreus is the immortal prince of the Underworld and protagonist of Hades. He repeatedly fights out of his father Hades' realm to find Persephone and uncover why his family history was hidden from him.

Defiant, witty, compassionate, persistent, and unusually respectful toward workers and shades, Zagreus turns repeated death into a process of learning and reconciliation. He uses several Infernal Arms, Olympian boons, dashes, casts, companion summons, and combat knowledge retained across escape attempts.

Zagreus's powers, allies, and development

Nyx raises him, Achilles trains him, Thanatos and Megaera share complicated romantic bonds, and Persephone and Hades become the parents whose separation he tries to repair.
