Zero

Zero is a legendary Reploid warrior in the Mega Man X series and later the protagonist of Mega Man Zero. Originally created as a destructive machine, he becomes a Maverick Hunter, X's closest partner, and a defender of Reploids and humans.

Zero's place in Mega Man X Series

Stoic, fearless, self-sacrificing, and troubled by his origins, Zero repeatedly chooses duty and friendship over the violent purpose built into him. He uses the Z-Saber, arm cannon, elemental techniques, dash mobility, advanced armor, and exceptional close-range combat.

X is his closest friend and moral counterpart, Sigma is tied to his early corruption, and Ciel and the Resistance depend on him in the later era.
