Hotarumaru comes with three expressions: his standard expression, a combat expression as well as an embarrassed, upset expression based on his line, "I'll shrink if you keep petting me like that." The set also includes a miniature hat to display him holding the hat instead. Good Smile Company originally released the figure in August 2016 and rereleased it in January 2019.

Its August 2016 release measures approximately 100 mm tall and is made from ABS and PVC.
