DEMON KING AND HERO

DEMON KING AND HERO began in 2010 as a Japanese fantasy light novel and multimedia series, created by Mamare Touno. A Hero reaches the Demon Queen's castle expecting a final battle, but she persuades him that ending the war requires reforming the economic and social systems that sustain it. The dialogue-driven fantasy expanded from an online story into novels, manga and a 2013 anime adaptation titled Maoyu.
