Hakuouki Shinkai

Hakuouki Shinkai began in 2015 as a Japanese historical otome visual novel remake series, created by Idea Factory and Design Factory. Chizuru Yukimura searches for her missing father in Kyoto and becomes entangled with the Shinsengumi, whose members face political turmoil and supernatural experiments. Shinkai retells and expands the original Hakuoki story with additional routes and characters.
