Mahjong Soul

First introduced in 2018, Mahjong Soul is a Chinese online riichi-mahjong game developed by Cat Food Studio, published by Yostar. Players compete in Japanese-style mahjong matches using voiced character avatars such as Ichihime, unlocking costumes, bonds and event stories. The free-to-play game became an internationally visible digital mahjong platform and received anime shorts and collaborations.
