Mashin Hero Wataru

Mashin Hero Wataru began in 1988 as a Japanese fantasy mecha anime franchise, created by Sunrise. Schoolboy Wataru Ikusabe is summoned to the magical world of S��kaizan, where he pilots the robot Ry��jinmaru and climbs the mountain's levels to defeat the demon ruler Doakuder. The child-friendly adventure became a long-running franchise with sequels, toys, games and a 2025 revival.
