YOHANE THE PARHELION began in 2022 as a Japanese fantasy multimedia spinoff, created by Project Love Live! The story reimagines Yoshiko Tsushima as Yohane, a fortune teller who returns to the seaside town of Numazu and joins familiar characters in confronting strange events. Beginning as an illustrated project, it expanded into a 2023 anime and game while retaining the Aqours cast in new fantasy roles.
