Its actions during battles with the Angels repeatedly blur the boundary between machine, organism, and parent.</p><h3>Berserk awakenings, the AT Field, and Yui Ikari</h3><p>The unit uses progressive knives, firearms, and an AT Field, while later acquiring the S2 Engine.
