<p><strong>Marian</strong> is a Nikke soldier and the first close companion of the Commander in <strong>GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE</strong>. Corrupted during an early mission, she is forced into conflict and later reappears as the powerful Heretic Modernia.</p> <h2>Marian's transformation into Modernia</h2> <p>Kind, trusting, and emotionally attached to the Commander, Marian retains fragments of her original identity despite corruption and memory damage. Her recovery has a childlike quality because much of her former experience is lost.</p> <h3>Corruption, lost memory, and her bond with the Commander</h3> <p>As Marian and Modernia, she uses advanced firearms, mechanical systems, and overwhelming Heretic combat power. Her relationship with Rapi, Anis, Neon, and the Commander makes her fate a central symbol of whether corrupted Nikkes can be saved.</p>
